Can’t wait to listen to all these. Some I know, some I definitely don’t, which is exciting as always to be hearing something new. Thank you for your piece.

I listened to Lucid Girl after you recommended it though I have always been a fan on Thee Sacred Souls. I also love Pale Jay, the journey Orion Sun takes us through in their album and MUTT is definitely a banger. I'm looking forward to check out some of the music that is in the list

thanks for checking out the post and i love that we have some of the same music taste! what were some of your favorite songs/albums this year?

I had to sit down and write my own list.😂 I'm fighting the urge not to go in depth but I'll listen my top 5 which will feature some of my local artists.

1. Lies about the war by Jacob Banks

2. We Cut Keys 2 by Blinky Bill

3. Overgrown by James Blake (he's been a fave for years)

4. Volcano by Jungle (I love the visuals on YouTube)

5. Thee Sacred Soul's self titled album (I love how it embodies different aspects of love. Plus I just love singing along)

I've loved listening to Ravyn Lenae, Orion Sun, MAUIMØON, Steve Lacy,Florence and the Machine and Hozier (of course) and a lot of jazz. I also really loved Just a Western (Boy Harsher remix) and Along the Red Rim, the Sun Settles from your list. I love how your posts make me pay attention to the music I listen to. It's really cool so, thank you✨

this list is fire! i’m not familiar with Jacob Banks, Blinky Bill, and MAUIMØON, so thanks for putting me on. you’ve really made my day by acknowledging how my posts have brought more intentionality to your music listening. that’s such a big part of my own practice 🙏🏾

I hope you love them. Blinky Bill is Kenyan (I'm Kenyan) and MAUIMØON is Ugandan. You can check out their latest albums and enjoy the vibes even though you don't understand the language (for Blinky Bill 😊). Hope your year ends beautifully ✨
