So for sure Teezo touchdown, chappell roan, and billie eilish - im borderline obsessed lol. I know you mentioned you're getting more interested in jazz and electronic. If you have other recs for those not listed here I'd love to hear because I'm interested in those too

that’s a cool mix of artists, thanks for sharing!

for jazz, i’d currently recommend Ebi Soda, Kokoroko, Theo Croker, and Kassa Overall. Kokoroko’s album Could We Be More was one of my favorites of 2022 and Animals by Kassa Overall made my list in 2023.

for electronic, it’s mostly the artists listed here at this moment. but i’m also feeling called to listen to The Avalanches again.

Ooh I've seen that kokoroko album on my YouTube recommendations some time ago (I distinctly remember likely the album cover lol). I'm excited to give it a listen, along with the others you mentioned. Tysm for sharing these! Can't wait to see more of these articles

I'm geeking out rn, I love this! I was just saying I hope I come across someone who writes about music I'm interested in - and here you are!

The Marias and Willow, with a little of Saya Gray have been in rotation heavy for me for the last few weeks. I'm excited to check out the others you listed here.

Also, totally agree with rejecting the idea that our interest in music dwindles with age. Every month I'm on a new deep dive of a genre/artist I never heard before

hi from a fellow Dijon and Mk.Gee fan (by association)! two star and the dream police grown on me and it’s been on my favorites of the year. I love Mk. Gee when he collabs with Dijon but his solo work is so dreamy!! loved the post
