hello and welcome to taurus season! technically, this is volume 2 in this series since i first introduced the essence of taurus with last year’s playlist.1
it’s also 4/20 today, so i’ll keep it fairly brief as i’m sure there’s other places for one to be and plenty of goods to indulge in this evening. below, i’ve got 4 herb-related recommendations (CBD included) to mark this occasion.
just the tip chill stones
since buying a chill stone earlier this year, i really endorse this ATL-based & Black woman-owned product. it’s a chic glass joint holder that’s perfect for indulging alone, but with a slogan like “pass joints, not jerms,” it’s even more ideal when used in mixed company. i bought the bundle which includes the following: a chill stone, a lighter with hemp wick, two prosperity bill scoopers for hands-free herb packing, and a pack of hemp cones.
illustrasuns crystal joint holders
i literally just stumbled upon these joint holders this morning and i’m definitely adding one to my wish list since they’re all currently sold out. i’ve been wanting a hand pipe made of stone for quite some time and this seems like the next best thing.
sagely naturals relief & recovery body cream
i came across this CBD brand at the grocery store; the 125mg relief and recovery cream really helps when i have a carpal tunnel flare-up or sore muscles from exercise. next time i get this, i will definitely be checking out one of the higher potency options on their site.
miss grass hemp & herb minis
i’ve been a fan of Miss Grass as a company for a few years now. this past winter, i tried their whole collection of CBD pre-rolls in the form of an advent calendar and they definitely evoked a sort-of Goldilocks effect. the petite size and momentary relief provided by these joints was just right.
in addition to these recs, i’ve got two playlists for your enjoyment: the taurus, vol. 2 playlist and a bonus 4/20 themed playlist called blaze it.
the taurus, vol. 2 playlist is 25 songs long and features tracks from Amaarae, Jordan Rakei, Kilo Kish and more. naturally, it’s a continuation of the vibe set by last year’s volume.
(apple music)
blaze it, on the other hand, is a little bit more intimate. but ideally, both playlists would be best enjoyed while lounging with a tray of decadent fruit and toppings (i’m thinking pomegranates, dates, kiwi, blood oranges, green apples w/ lemon & ginger-infused raw honey & caramel…or whatever you fancy tbh).
(apple music)
either way, may these offerings find you well whenever you encounter them!
with care,
Tay
i also re-shared my SMK BRK playlist in this post and it’s worth the revisit today.
