i did better this month in keeping up with music, yet my to-be-listened list grows longer and longer. i keep discovering more that i want to listen to! i felt inspired and invigorated by the music i’ve played recently. this has positively affected my mood (i’m sure that the sun setting later and later had something to do with this effect too).

sights to see:
this immaculate jewelry from Panconesi! i’ve been thinking a lot about creating elaborate jewelry and the ritual of adornment.
speaking of adornment, you can just tell when someone looks like they know their way around a Bedazzler™️. it’s me, i’m that someone. i want to bedazzle again.
Kelela’s Tiny Desk Concert — check out her RAVE:N, The Remixes album too if you haven’t already!
Solange’s recent Harper’s BAZAAR cover story:
André 3000’s recent interviews with Citizen and Highsnobiety regarding his music and personal style. i think there’s power in committing to a uniform like he does. also love this quote as a devotee of overalls, jumpsuits, and all things free size: “It takes a certain person to wear overalls. They’re like grown-people baby clothes. They feel very comfortable — that’s why I love them.”
a special leap day double playlist feature:
the first playlist is full of music from my past and newer songs that evoke a sense of nostalgia. it also includes songs from a few albums that had anniversaries this month. see if you can spot them!
the second playlist is full of recent tracks, many of which have been linked throughout this recap. both playlists include 29 tracks and a little something for everybody. enjoy!
