welcome to Taurus season, where we revel in all things that delight the senses. ruled by the planet Venus, this is a sign that has an unbridled appreciation for beauty, comfort, leisure, and indulgence at both the simple and extravagant ends of the spectrum.
my moon is in Taurus, so i understand the assumed stubbornness, the high standards, and love of nature all too well. in this issue of my newsletter, i offer inspiration for Taurus in the form of the five basic senses.

i’ve been watching NPR Tiny Desk Concerts on my projector — really enjoyed viewing Rina Sawayama and Jazmine Sullivan’s episodes this morning.

getting back into DIY and crafting with my hands. i have a few clothing related projects i’m working on that i will share at at later date. think: lots of safety pins!
taste
making dried mango and apple chips in the air fryer (using dehydrate setting / 130 degrees Fahrenheit for 5-6 hours) + drinking fresh juice on the regular (celery, carrot, apple, lime, ginger, chard).
smell
i recently wrote this Spring fragrance roundup for NBGA to invite new scent options into my life and that of others. the most recent scent to tantalize me is Maison Margiela REPLICA ‘Coffee Break’ — coffee, lavender, and milk (like wearing a lavender latte, my favorite).
sound
i’ve been making a ton of playlists as of late and here’s one for Taurus. there are a few Taurean musicians included on the list, but the music mainly captures both the intimate and worldly essence of Taurus.
