summer breeze

new month, new mix

hey friends,

this Friday started off a little lethargic, but i now feel renewed by the soft grey clouds and mist in the air after the rain — the combination of that and the sensual electric guitar in the 1973 hit “Summer Breeze” got me feeling right this morning.

i’m also elated to share my second mix, deep cuts vol 2! widely. it’s an experimental sound collage with call & response across tracks, repeating sonic elements/Easter eggs, and a decent mix of throwbacks & new jams. subscribers got a preview a lil while back and note: nothing has changed about the original upload but the photo :) i’ll share the first photo here though because 70s aesthetic Kermit looking like Don Cornelius (RIP) is still my mood.

the sound collage is currently up on Mixcloud, featuring the likes of Aaliyah, Khruangbin, and JPEGMAFIA. i’m having a lot of fun playing around and manipulating sound in this way; i’m excited to invest in more relevant equipment and keep challenging myself creatively.
