fashion month has officially come to a close and i’m excited to continue reviewing the shows and silhouettes presented. often, there’s just so much to take in at once that it’s tough to keep up with the international fashion weeks as they happen, so i’ll probably be finding new favorites for some time to come.
in no particular order, here are some designs from SS22 that i’m swooning over. throughout this list, you’ll find songs i’d listen to while wearing these looks and making the sidewalks my runway.
Halpern SS22 - dancers as models is my favorite genre
LRS SS22 - this hipbone cleavage is next level
Zimmermann SS22 - my 14/15 year old self would be speechless over this look, swiftly adopting elements of it into my everyday wardrobe. my 27 y/o self is highly considering doing the same
House of Aama SS22 - such a playful look to romp around in
Schiaparelli SS22 (sn: Dilone is one of my favorite models 😍)
Botter SS22 - i thought i’d seen ENOUGH of this top silhouette, then i saw it smartly paired with belted trousers and i changed my mind
Simon Miller SS22 - featuring Aleali May, the whole collection is a total vibe for a getaway
Proenza Schouler SS22 - complementary colors win me over all the time!
Calvin Luo SS22 - punk androgyny holds a special place in my heart
AZ Factory SS22 - though this look was designed in-house, it’s very touching that designers all over the globe came together to present looks inspired by the late Alber Elbaz. some referenced his previous collections for Lanvin, while others paid homage to Elbaz himself by showing motifs of his signature eyeglasses + bowties
Issey Miyake SS22 - i just wanna see this look in motion! obsessed with the architectural drapery in this collection
Lauren Manoogian SS22 - wow i live for a statement back detail like this immaculate ruching. it’s giving business in the front, party in the back
Loewe SS22 - speaking of back details, i think this oversized denim jacket look would be super fun to DIY
