summer’s officially here and we’ve now entered Cancer season!
a cardinal water sign ruled by the Moon, Cancers are typically associated with being sensitive, nurturing, intuitive, resilient, and compassionate. some of my favorite Cancerians include: Missy Elliott, Solange, Chlöe Bailey, Jaden Smith, Sufjan Stevens, Kevin Abstract, Panda Bear — just a handful of regally talented, avant-garde performers who know how to tap into a deep reservoir of expression & sentimentality in order to bring us art that resonates on a cellular level.
i can already tell that this is going to be a season for truly feeling out your feels and (hopefully) finding resolutions with all matters of the heart. i’m prepared to go with the flow and embrace the change of the season. and even though people have been proclaiming “we outside,” i think Cancer season and the post Mercury RX shadow will have us keeping it cozy at home for just a little while longer.
